The Desert combines Norell and Lucia’s desire to engage in an interdisciplinary creation process focused on the experience of breath in movement and music. Norell is an interdisciplinary musician and dance artist and Lucia is a dancer and choreographer who uses improvisation and movement research from quotidian life. The Desert plays with, interrogates, and settles into our individual and collective breath through sound and movement, and ruminates more generally on how this artistic meditation speaks to practices of healing.
